Kim Simons Tortolani

Executive Director, Charm City Run Foundation

A former collegiate athlete and coach, Kim has always had a passion for sports and teams. Although a lifelong runner, she just recently completed her first race and joined a training group – and loved it! Kim is happiest when active with friends and family, and enjoys just about anything outdoors.

Kim is also deeply committed to community engagement through extensive volunteering and professional experience in the nonprofit sector. Most recently, she focused on preparing students from underserved communities for internships and jobs. She also consults for a nonprofit dedicated to workforce development, job opportunities, and support for young men in Baltimore City. A previous team member at the Timonium store, she has always appreciated the positive energy and people at CCR. Kim is excited to take on her new role with the Charm City Run Foundation continuing the foundation’s impactful work in the community.

Kim is married with two sons, one daughter, and two Portuguese water dogs who, surprisingly, prefer to stay on dry land!
