A Completely Overhauled Upper
Salomon didn’t just tweak the upper from version 3; they completely reimagined it. The Aero Glide 4 features a 3D engineered mesh paired with their signature SensiFit construction.
The SensiFit Secret: The goal is a “second skin” feel. It securely cradles the heel, locks the midfoot in square, and keeps you comfortably centered over the platform.
The mesh is highly breathable through the forefoot and midfoot, while the heel collar remains sturdy for a secure lockdown. Plus, for those early morning or late evening miles, they’ve added reflective elements on the forefoot, laces, and heel to keep you visible.

You’ll find the rubber in all the high-wear areas—specifically the midfoot, forefoot, and the entire radius of the outsole—ensuring you have traction that lasts as long as the cushion does.
