Welcome back to Sole Stats! This time we’re breaking down the new Brooks Adrenaline GTS 26, a moderately cushioned stability daily trainer with some welcome updates to the upper and midsole.

The Upper

Brooks took a few design cues from the newest Ghost, especially in the tongue, which is now softer and stretchier than last year’s version. It’s still sewn in only at the bottom.

The heel collar has also been redesigned to sit a little higher, and the pull tab has moved to make it easier to get the shoe on and off.

The Midsole

Brooks still uses full-length DNA LOFT foam throughout the midsole. The stack height is 36mm in the heel and 26mm in the forefoot, for a 10mm drop.

The biggest change is a slightly softer feel than the Adrenaline 25. Brooks made this update for a more balanced ride, and the softer cushioning works with the GuideRails support system to deliver just that.

The Outsole

You’ll still find plenty of rubber coverage on the bottom for durability and grip.

Weight

The Adrenaline GTS 26 weighs 10.8 oz in men’s and 9.6 oz in women’s.

Available November 1

The Brooks Adrenaline GTS 26 is $155 and available at all Charm City Run locations starting November 1, in men’s and women’s sizing. Stop by for an expert fitting and take it for a spin!

See you in the next edition of Sole Stats!
