Welcome back to Sole Stats! This time we’re covering the new HOKA Arahi 9, a reliable stability daily trainer that’s great for running and walking.

The Upper

HOKA uses a well-built engineered mesh that’s reinforced on the inner side of the foot for extra support and lockdown. There’s plenty of padding around the heel collar and tongue, and the upper breathes well.

The Midsole

The midsole is made entirely of HOKA’s compression-molded EVA foam. The stack height is 39mm in the heel and 31mm in the forefoot, for an 8mm drop.

HOKA’s H-Frame technology keeps you stable without overcorrecting your stride. The shoe cradles your foot, so it’s a great stable option whether you roll inward (pronate) or outward (supinate).

Compared to the Arahi 8, this version is softer with a smoother ride overall.

The Outsole

The durable rubber outsole has plenty of coverage everywhere you need it, so it’s built to last mile after mile.

Weight

The Arahi 9 weighs 8.2 oz in women’s and 10 oz in men’s.

Available Now

The HOKA Arahi 9 is available in store and online at shop.charmcityrun.com for $155. Stop by for an expert fitting and take it for a spin!
