Coach: Meghan Fugate
Meghan has been coaching running since the Fall of 2000 when she started the Middle School Cross Country Team at Notre Dame Preparatory School in Towson. Since then she helped start the Middle School Cross Country Team at Garrison Forest School and coached their Varsity Team for five years. Beginning in 2007, Meghan coached Varsity Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field at Mercy High School and Varsity Cross Country. After being at Mercy for 7 years, she coached CCBC Essex' Women's Cross Country and Indoor and Outdoor Track Teams for 2.5 years. Meghan began running in Middle School and completed her first marathon at the age of 19. She has completed countless 5k’s, 10k’s, 10 milers and half marathons. She has completed more than 50 marathons including the New York City Marathon, the Marine Corps Marathon and Chicago. Her ultimate goal is to run a marathon in every state! Meghan has used triathlons for cross training and has completed 4 Half Ironmans and Ironman Maryland as well as open water endurance events. In 2011, Meghan began coaching at Charm City Run in Howard County where she works with a variety of runners ranging from beginner 5k walkers and runners through marathoners looking to set new prs!

This NEW group program will be offered at Charm City Run Columbia. You will meet twice a week for supported group workouts with your fellow runners and coach – to include strength training, mobility, and mileage building. The goal it so prepare you for day one of your fall training program.
If your fall training for a marathon or half marathon, starts in June and you need help between your spring race and June training this group is for you. Let us help you prepare for your next training block.
Requirements
To safely meet your goal we do ask that you are an experience runner that has completed a minimum of one half marathon within the last year. If you are unsure if you meet this criteria please contact Dawn Litrenta at dawn@charmcityrun.com
