Dawn Litrenta is the store lead of our Timonium location, with 3 daughters & a life long passion for coaching, running & living a healthy lifestyle.
A former Division 1 Field Hockey Player at Loyola College she was always active but did not run her 1st Marathon until she was 40...and hasn't stopped since! She has run 2 marathons per year since, interspersed with countless Half Marathons, 10K's & 5K's...proving that its never too late to start running or that you're never too busy to make time for what matters to you!
She has coached for 15+ years and has experience with everyone from 5 year olds to professional athletes. Most recently she coached at PerFormfit Sports Experience. She has been a customer at Charm City Run since the beginning and was fortunate enough to join the CCR team in 2014. She has helped many of our runners accomplish their individual goals while having fun, staying healthy & enjoying the Team atmosphere of her groups.
She feel blessed to have found a way to balance her family, career & passion!
Her favorite quote is "the only run you will ever regret is the one you don't do"...so just do it...come run with us!

Are you planning to a half marathon this fall? Our half marathon program is open to everyone from the runner attempting their first endurance event to the repeat competitive runner. Training can be individualized to your experience and goals. The program will prepare to race your best – whether you’re new to long distance running or a seasoned half marathoner.
Your group will meet twice a week- once a week for speed workouts and once a week for long runs. Your expert coach will also provide you with a weekly training plan that will guide your preparation for your target half marathon. Along the way you’ll learn about about increasing your mileage, tempo runs, track workouts, hill workouts, recovery runs, nutrition, hydration, injury prevention, and much more.
Requirements
To safely meet your goal we do ask that you have a base level of running under your belt before joining this group. What does that mean? We ask that at the beginning of the program you are able to run/walk 3-4 miles at one time and are currently running 10-15 miles per week. This does not mean you need to be able to run the entire way but just that you are comfortable covering that distance. Are you not sure if you meet these requirements? Don’t worry ask the coach for you location. You will be surprised that most people meet these requirements and are able to join the group.
