Coach: Caitlin Bertoni
Caitlin, a lifelong athlete, grew up playing basketball and found running in 2013 while training for her first half marathon. From there, she has run several races on the east coast ranging from 5K-Halfs. During COVID when running was literally the only fitness activity accessible, she decided to level up her training for her first marathon; the Baltimore Marathon in 2021. Since Baltimore, Caitlin has completed 4 additional marathons and is training for her first Half IronMan.
Aside from running, Caitlin believes immensely in the importance of cross/strength training to maintain overall physical strength to be prepared for high endurance races or life in general. Caitlin is a mother of 3 and embodies an active lifestyle with her family. She regularly starts her days with a pre-sunrise run or gym visit and encourages her children to move their bodies throughout the day to stimulate the mind and body for what the day will bring. She is passionate about children and children living active lives as she sees physical activity and healthy lifestyle choices as the pathway to longevity.
Caitlin has coached kids’ basketball and is thrilled to support the incredible Mighty Milers group! When Caitlin is not running, working out or being mom, she is a passionate Technology Leader.

Description
The program serves kids from second through eighth grade. We welcome all kids who want to run, whether they have never run or have years of experience. We challenge them on their own personal level to teach them everything they will need in order to be a successful runner.
The program will cover a range of skills: from the basics of drills and stretching, to the more advanced movements of speed work and strength training. We have a few simple goals: improve fitness, improve as runners, make friends, and learn that running is fun! Our program is challenging, but whether it’s on the track, on a trail, or playing a game, they will have fun!
We will get your children running this spring. Regardless if they are running a race or getting ready for a spring sport, they will enjoy a consistent running routine with a supportive group of friends and coaches!
