SUMMARY:Run/Walk Your Way Panel and Ladies' Evening
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an evening that will celebrate running and walking your way with Charm City Run and New Balance! We will have a panel of women who will share their inspiring run/walk journeys (see below for details). There will also be a giveaway to win a pair of New Balance shoes and free entry into the MedStar Health Baltimore Women’s Classic 5K presented by New Balance. We’ll have special discounts\, a gift with purchase from New Balance\, a physical therapist on-site for questions and B12 shots by MedSpa! \nLadies\, this will be an evening you don’t want to miss! Share with your girlfriends and make it a girls night! \nPanelists:\n\nCoach Meghan Fugate: Meghan began running in Middle Schooland completed her first marathon at the age of 19. She has completed countless 5k’s\, 10k’s\, 10 milersand half marathons. She has completed more than 50 marathons including the New York CityMarathon\, the Marine Corps Marathon and Chicago. Her ultimate goal is to run a marathon in everystate! Meghan has used triathlons for cross training and has completed 4 Half Ironmans and IronmanMaryland as well as open water endurance events. Meghan has been coaching running since the Fall of 2000 and in 2011\, she began coaching at Charm City Runin Howard County where she works with a variety of runners ranging from beginner 5k walkers andrunners through marathoners looking to set new PRs!\nCoach Stefanie Smith: CCR Annapolis 5k / 10K Coach and CCR Columbia Store Employee. Stefanie is our 5k coach and 10K Coach for CCR Annapolis. She has an AA in personal training\, certifications from ACE\, NASM and CrossFit. \nUltra Runner – Meg Landymore: Meg is a wife\, mom of two boys\, military veteran\, small business owner\, physician assistant\, ultrarunner and certified running coach. She has been running for more than twenty years and exclusively focused on running ultra marathons for twelve of them. She has set course records and podiumed at a number of races of distances ranging from small marathons and 50Ks up to a fewFKTs:Double S.C.A.R.\, the roughly ~345 mile Appalachian High Route and recently the Four StateChallenge on the Appalachian Trail here in Maryland. Finally\, she has run the entire 2\,194.1 miles of the Northbound Appalachian Trail in long weekend sections over 14 months with one other amazing woman. \nMarathoner / Podcaster – Nicky Tamberrino: Nicky Tamberrino is an experienced marathon runner\, RRCA certified running coach\, mind & body fitnesscoach and yoga teacher. She hosts a podcast called Maybe Running Will Help where she explores the why of running with her guests\, and encourages people to join our community.
