DESCRIPTION:At Charm City Run\, we know that motherhood doesn’t mean hitting “pause” on your athletic identity—it just means finding a new way to move.\nWe are so excited to invite you to Strong as a Mother\, Finding Your Stride in Every Stage. This special InspireHER event is designed to celebrate and support women at every stage of their athletic and parenting journey. We’ve assembled a panel of incredible women from the worlds of Nike\, CrossFit and She Runs This Town to talk about the transition into motherhood\, the comeback\, and the daily discipline of being a working mom. \nWe’ll start the morning with a healthy breakfast\, followed by a moderated conversation where no topic is off-limits. Whether you’re a marathoner\, a walker\, or a gym-goer\, you’ll find a community here that cheers for your milestones both on and off the clock. \nPanelists: \n\nAsha Steele is a Brand Marketing expert and Nike EKIN for the DMV. A Rutgers University graduate and retired elite sprinter\, Asha is a former American Record Holder in the women’s 4x200m. Now navigating her newest rewarding challenge as a “New Mommy\,” she brings the same record-breaking energy to the DMV running community that she once brought to the track.\nAlex Germano is a geriatric physical therapist\, CrossFit coach\, and proud mom of two. With 17 years in CrossFit\, she has built a vibrant career coaching athletes\, caring for older adults\, and teaching across the country. She is driven to create meaningful work while staying present in her roles as a mother and military spouse. \nRae Granofsky is a once a self-described “couch athlete\,” Rae transformed small\, tentative steps around her neighborhood into ultramarathons through the power of community and persistent growth. Today\, she balances life as a PhD student and mother by championing an inclusive approach to movement\, proving it is never too late to redefine what strength looks like.
