ZOOMA Half Marathon/Baltimore 10 Miler Training
Starts March 25th at all stores!
At Charm City Run we think what makes running fun is the people you share it with, being outdoors, and striving to achieve a goal. This training program is designed to help meet those three needs and many more. The groups will run twice a week, once a week for track workouts and Saturdays for long runs.
We strive to help you achieve your goal safely by a gradual increase in your training. We give talks on hydration, nutrition, injury prevention, and have physical therapists available during your training to help with your goals. Training plans will be created for beginner and intermediate runners so no worries we have room for everyone. Our groups range from 16 minute milers to about 7 minute milers and everyone in between.
To safely meet your goal we do ask that you have a base level of running under your belt before joining this group. What does that mean? We ask that at the beginning of the program you are able to run/walk 3-4 miles at one time and are currently running 10-15 miles per week. This does not mean you need to be able to run the entire way but just that you are comfortable covering that distance. Are you not sure if you meet these requirements? Don’t worry ask the coach for you location. You will be surprised that most people meet these requirements and are able to join the group.
This session will start March 25th at all stores and end June 4th.
