Virtual training is a great option for those can’t make it to group training, are training for races outside of our time frames and/or have more specialized goals. This training option gives you the opportunity to receive expert online coaching while you train for your next endurance race. You'll be able to complete your training runs on your own time, while following a weekly plan provided by your coach.

Please read below to discover which type of virtual training is best for you.


Virtual 5K & 10K Training

Train for 6-8 weeks for your goal race. Open to all levels including walkers and beginner to experienced runners.

What to Expect:

  • 6 week personalized training plan (5K) or 8 week personalized training plan (10K)

  • Weekly training plans emailed to you

  • Access to an expert coach via email to answer your questions

  • Running education & motivation incorporated into the program

  • 10% store discount at Charm City Run during training

Although plans can be adapted to your goal race - typically, 5K plans are 6 weeks and 10K plans are 8 weeks in length. We recommend you register at least 7 weeks before your goal 5K race or 9 weeks before your goal 10K race.

Virtual Half & Full Marathon Training

Train for 14-18 weeks for your goal race. We ask that you feel comfortable running 3-4 miles at at time for half marathon training and 7-8 miles at a time for marathon training. All levels welcome for virtual training - whether you are attempting your first distance race or are reaching for a new PR.

What to Expect:

  • 14-week personalized training plan (marathon) or 18-week personalized training plan (half marathon)

  • Expert coaching consultation to create training plan

  • Workouts specific to your race

  • Pacing specific to your race

  • Workout explanations built into plan

  • Daily email reminders of workouts

  • Access to training plan via Final Surge so you have access online or on your phone
