Hi I’m Victoria!
I have been a runner for 10 years now and a distance runner for 8 of those years. I have ran everything from a 200 meter dash to a half marathon and I am currently transitioning into the triathlon world. I consider myself to be a competitive age group athlete, with several age group wins and coming in 2nd overall female and 1st in my age group in my first trail 10K.
What is important to point out is that not every run I go on is all sunshine and rainbows. I have experienced major setbacks in my running career, and with that major lows. Because of that, I understand what it means to be a runner and I hope to bring that understanding to those that I coach.
Runners are unique individuals. We enjoy pushing ourselves to our limits to see what we are capable of and celebrate every milestone, no matter how little it may seem at the time. Those small milestones are what add to the creation of a strong runner. I strongly believe that anyone can be a runner, seeing as I came from a swimming and soccer background and hated the first run I ever went on. But when you keep putting one foot in front of the other, you end up in places you never thought possible.
As a coach, I want to help people reach their goals and teach them to not stop there. So much is possible when you have a positive attitude, trust your training, and always put one foot in front of the other.
