Spring Daytime Fall Half Marathon Training
Train on weekday mornings for a spring half marathon!
Starts January 5th in Timonium.
We are excited to offer a new option in Timonium - a daytime training group! Join expert coach Ericka Butler on Monday and Friday mornings to prepare for spring half marathons in April. This is a great option for those who want to train while kids are in school, have flexible work schedules or simply prefer to run on weekday mornings.
Get serious about your running and fitness and train to complete or compete in a half-marathon or 10 Miler! Our half marathon programs are open to everyone from the runner attempting their first endurance event to the repeat competitive runner. Training can be individualized to your experience and goals.
At Charm City Run we think what makes running fun is the people you share it with, being outdoors, and striving to achieve a goal. This training program is designed to help meet those three needs and many more. The groups will run twice a week, Mondays for speed-based workouts and Fridays for long runs.
We strive to help you achieve your goal safely by a gradual increase in your training. We give talks on hydration, nutrition, injury prevention, and have physical therapists available during your training to help with your goals. Training plans will be created for beginner and intermediate runners so no worries we have room for everyone. Our groups range from 16 minute milers to about 7 minute milers and everyone in between.
To safely meet your goal we do ask that you have a base level of running under your belt before joining this group. What does that mean? We ask that at the beginning of the program you are able to run/walk 3-4 miles at one time and are currently running 10-15 miles per week. This does not mean you need to be able to run the entire way but just that you are comfortable covering that distance. Are you not sure if you meet these requirements? Don’t worry ask the coach for you location. You will be surprised that most people meet these requirements and are able to join the group.
This session will start January 5th in Timonium and end March 30th.
Target Race: Any spring half marathon.
