Sara is a Charm City transplant originally hailing from Massachusetts. Her love of running began by proxy - watching her mom train for every distance from the 10k to the marathon. It wasn't until college that Sara decided maybe running was in her genes after all and ran the Disneyland Half Marathon. That was back in 2006 and she has been running every since. Completing countless races of all distances - including 3 full marathons - she loves a good track session just as much as a Sunday long run.
Sara is so passionate about helping people make long term lifestyle changes through health and fitness. She has coached for training programs such as Team Challenge as well as 1-1 clients, and is most well known for helping beginner runners create an actionable plan to meet their goals.
She is also the creator of SaraLizabethFitness.com, holds a personal training certification through the American College of Sports Medicine, and still manages to hold down a 9-5 working for Under Armour as an apparel developer.
