Rich started working part-time at Charm City Run in 2012 in the Clarksville store and quickly added some weekend shifts at the Annapolis and Baltimore stores. He got to know a large number of the CCR family very quickly. In the Fall of 2013 he took a full time position as an assistant manager at the Timonium store and eventually served as manager at Timonium. When the opportunity to become the store lead at the Clarksville location became available in July of 2014, Rich jumped at the chance.
A native of Randallstown, MD., Rich graduated from Gilman high school in 1989. After Gilman, he earned an English and American Lit. degree from Brown University in Providence, RI. While at Brown, he went on to become captain of the lacrosse team in 1993.
After graduating from Brown, Rich lived in Park City, Utah for 13 years where he was very active as a coach in the Utah lacrosse community. That is also where he fell in love with running. The trails in Park City were beautiful and endless and trail running became a passion for him. Working at Charm City Run allows him to share this passion for running and allows him the opportunity to help customers enjoy a healthier lifestyle by finding the right shoes and gear to fit their individual needs.
When he is not working at Charm City Run, Rich is either running, playing lacrosse, or enjoying time with his twin daughters.
