Guest Speaker George Banker author of Marine Corps Marathon: A Running Tradition and operations manager of the Army Ten Miler, the largest 10-mile road race in the United States, will speak on the topic of "The Importance of Motivation and Inspiration to Make the Next Step." Gust Speaker Dr. Daniel Lane will speak on the topic of sports health, injury prevention and management. Bring your questions to "Talk to the Doc!"

10 MILE/5K RUN INFORMATION
SUNDAY, MARCH 7
Both the 10 Miler and 5K begin and end at Salisbury University's Maggs Physical Activities Center. The 10 Miler and 5K (3.1 miles) wind through the beautiful neighborhoods surrounding the University and the Wicomico River. The 10 Miler takes runners into downtown Salisbury.For a map go to www.timkennard.org

Important Information:
Each mile is marked and professional race management and timing are provided with chip timing.

Runners in the 10 mile race must be able to complete the course in 2 hours or less.

To ensure runner safety, unregistered runners, bicycles, skateboards, roller blades, baby joggers and dogs arestrictly prohibited on the 10 mile run. The 5K run/walk allows baby joggers and dogs. PLEASE NOTE - It will be enforced that baby joggers and well-behaved canines will be placed at the back of the pack for the start of the 5K run/walk. Sorry no
dogs allowed inside Maggs Physical Activities Center.

Locker rooms, showers and bathrooms are located inside Maggs Physical Activities Center.

The top three finishers in the following age groups (male and female) will receive an exclusive custom designed award:
*For 5K event only: 11 and under, 12-14, 15-19
*For 10 Mile only: 15 and under, 16-19
*For both events: 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70 and over.
**IF POSSIBLE PLEASE REGISTER BEFORE RACE DAY Each individual must be on a separate entry form. Participants 18 and under must have parents' signature.

A hi-tech long-sleeve shirt is guaranteed to pre-pregistered runners/walkers only.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
Salisbury, MD, is approximately 30 miles west of the popular resort town of Ocean City, MD; 1 1/2 hours southeast of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge; 2 hours from Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Wilmington, DE; 3 hours from Norfolk, VA; and 4 1/2 hours from New York City.

From the West: Follow Business Route 50 East into Salisbury. Take a right immediately after the bridge onto Mill Street (fifth light in Salisbury). Continue straight through the two intersections. Do not bear right or left. This street becomes Camden Avenue. The University is located on the left after approximately 1 mile.

From the North: Follow Business Route 13 South into Salisbury and proceed 4 miles to the campus which is located on the right.

Sign up early to receive a hi-tech running/waling shirt guaranteed to first 500 pre-registered runners/walkers only.

We have both male and female shirt sizes. If you use our printable form listing t-shirts it only list sizes but not by gender. Women please check either s, m, or l for your shirt sizes and note next to shirt sizes you want female shirts or otherwise you will end up getting men's sizes.

The dates for registration fees below refer to the postmark date. Entries postmarked after March 1 will not be processed. Register online up to March 5th. You still may register in person Saturday, March 6 (Noon - 5 p.m.) or race day, Sunday, March 7 (6:30 - 7:45 a.m.).
