* 1-Mile Fun Run does NOT include a race shirt. Race shirts can be purchased for $10.
** In order to compete for age category awards and team awards, you must pay the additional $5 fee to be timed. Timed 5k participants will be provided with a IPICO "timing chip".
There are no refunds of entry given or transfers of entry permitted for this event.
Teams may only register through the mail and must designate a team captain. Teams must
consist of at least four members.

Team Captain Responsibilities:
Act as a liaison between team and event staff. All team contact must be done through this position.
Mail all registration forms to Charm City Run Event Management (PO Box 5464, Towson, MD 21285) no later than April 1, 2014.
Pick up all team race packets on Thursday, May 1 at Charm City Run in Clarksville.
Captains are responsible for handing out all race materials to their teammates.
Designate a meeting spot for your team at the race. (Founder sponsors receive a table infront of the Leidos building.
Only those that complete the 5K timed will be counted for team awards.
Largest Team award goes to the team that has the most number of 5K finishers
Fastest team award goes to the team that has the fastest combined time of its top four finishers.
Course: USAT&F-certified; this is a loop course that is relatively flat, but the inclines are certain to provide a challenge
5K Team Challenge: Register a team (four or more, for 5K only. Each participant must finish the 5K to qualify as a team member.) Team prizes will be awarded for the largest team and the fastest team.
Post Race Party: Nottingham’s (8850 Stanford Boulevard, Columbia, MD 21045)Amenities: Upgraded T-shirts guaranteed for the first 800 to register (field is limited to 1,500 runners); race-day massages; water and splits on the 5K course; complimentary breakfast will be provided by Eggspectations both before and after the AFCEA 5K.
Awards: top three male and female finishers overall as well as in the following age groups: 9 and under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.
