Stoneleigh Stampede 5K/1-mile Walk
Saturday, May 25 at 8 a.m.
Each participant, regardless of age, must complete an entry form and sign a release.
Course: The course begins and stops in the heart of Historic Stoneleigh, the Stoneleigh Pool. Participants will have a rolling course through the beautiful streets of our community. The 1-mile walk will be on sidewalks and is open to participants of all ages. Water, refreshments and lots of encouragement will be provided.
For the safety of all participants, NO pets, headsets, rollerblades, rollerskates, skateboards, scooters or bicycles are permitted in either event. Strollers are allowed.
Awards: Performance awards will be given to the top male and female finisher overall and in each of the following age categories: 10 and under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49 50-59, and 60 and over.
Beneficiary: The Stoneleigh Community is hosting its 13th
annual 5K Fun Run/1-mile walk. This year half of the proceeds will be donated in honor of Louis Lowenthal to the Towson High Boosters. Louis was also passionate about the charity Action for Healthy Kids. Runners may further honor Louis during this race by raising money for Action for Healthy Kids.
