Chestertown Half Marathon and 5K

Athletes Serving Athletes, Washington College and the Town Council invite you to be a part of Chestertown's third annual half marathon and 5K! 100 percent of the proceeds go to host charity Athletes Serving Athletes and three local charity partners: Character Counts, The Radcliffe Creek School and Women In Need.
Entry Fees:
$70 for the half marathon
will be capped at 500 participants
$30 for the 5K
will be capped at 250 participants
Team ASA members run for free, but still must register either online or with a mail-in form.

Course: The half-marathon course will take you south on a flat, fast course across the Eastern shore countryside and return to the Chester River.
The 5K course runs out of town for two miles on Cross Street and follows the Chester River back to the finish line at Wilmer Park.
Registration and finish will take place at the riverfront pavilion, walking distance from the heart of historic Chestertown. Both races start at the intersection of High Street and Water Street.
Amenities: Half marathon runners receive a performance hat; 5K runners receive a cotton T-shirt, must register by Sept. 1 to guarantee shirt
Awards For Half Marathoners: $100 cash award to first female and male finishers. Age-group awards will go to the top male and female in each age group: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over. Awards will also be given to the top male and female Washington College alumni and the top male and female Washington College student.
The Waterfront Festival will add to the excitement of the day! Sept. 22 at Wilmer Park from 12-4 p.m. will be river cruises, cardboard boat parade, food, fun and more. All FREE!
Parking: Dixon Valve will provide parking again at Stepne Center, directly across from Wilmer Park. Although parking is free, any donations would be greatly appreciated. 100 percent of contributions from parking go directly to Character Counts, Kent County.
