Charm City Run marathon and half marathon training groups are eligible for a $5 discount.
Add $10 to the entry fee if you want bus transportation to the start and please indicate such on your registration.

There is a 350-runner capacity on this race, so register early!

There is no parking at the start of the race in Freeland. Arrange your own drop off at the race start or ride the bus from the race day registration and finish area at Ashland Marketplace.

The first bus will leave Ashland Marketplace at 6:15 a.m. Buses will leave every 15 minutes thereafter, provided they are full. The last bus will leave at 7:15 a.m. Transportation is not guaranteed for race-day registrants.

Directions and Parking

To Ashland Marketplace:
From the South, East or West:
I-695 to I-83 North. Follow I-83 to Exit 18 Warren Rd. Follow Warren Rd. to York Rd. (Rt 45) and turn left. Follow York Rd. approximately one mile, past Valley View Farms to Ashland Market Place on your right.

To Start: The only cars permitted at the race are for drivers dropping off runners.
I-83 to Exit 36. Follow exit ramp and turn right onto York Rd. Follow York Rd. north to the town of Maryland Line. Turn left onto Freeland Rd. Drive approximately three miles to trail drop-off site on your right, just after you cross over the North Central Trail.

Course: The course is 20 miles downgrade on the Northern Central Trail. The NCT is a hard-packed, dirt surface and part of the "Rails To Trail" program. The trail is open to casual runners, horse riders and bikers during our event. Please be gracious to all. This is the same trail used for the Northern Central Trail Marathon. This race is a great training or peak event to prepare for a fall marathon. Course maps available at packet pick-up.

Please no baby joggers, strollers, roller blades, skates, bikes, dogs or headphones allowed on the race course. Your race number must be worn on your front and must be visible. DO NOT exchange or give your number to another runner.

Amenities: Performance shirts to all participants; medical coverage on course; water and Gatorade at designated sites; post-race refreshments at the finish line area.

NOTE: Fluids are available only about every three miles. It is recommended runners carry their own fluid replacement and/or energy supplement.

Awards: cash awards to top three male and female finishers overall ($150, $75, $50); masters ($50); top three male and female finishers in following age groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over.
