Seabreeze 10K and 1-mile Run/Walk

Challenge yourself! Have you run a number of 5Ks? Step up your game and double your accomplishments by running in the Seabreeze 10K! Or register for the 1-mile fun run and show us what you can do! Celebrate the day before Mothers' Day and support a local charity by taking part in our Seabreeze 10K and 1-mile race by running and walking along the coast.

Public Landing Pavilion

Directions and Parking: From Worcester Highway/US 113 outside of Snow Hill, Md., go east on Public Landing Road/MD 365 until it dead ends at the Marina. There is plenty of FREE parking at the Public Landing Pavilion, Marina and boat ramp.

Course: The Inaugural Seabreeze 10K and 1-mile Run/Walk will be held in scenic Public Landing in Worcester County, just south of Ocean City. The race will be starting and ending at the Public Landing Pier and Pavilion at the end of Public Landing Rd. on Chincoteague Bay. This is a great venue with an attractive course and ample free parking. Awards, food and entertainment make this a must-run event!

We offer a 1-mile run/walk that will appeal to the entire family.

Awards: Top finisher prizes will be awarded in the 10K race. The top male and female finishers overall receive medals. The top two male and female winners in the following age groups also receive medals: 12 and under, 13-17, 18-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64 and 65 and older.

: The event offers a uniquely-designed, commemorative T-shirt to registrants in the 10K. Sizes available are S, M, L, XL and XXL.

Timing and Scoring: Timing operated by Charm City Run Events will be used to score the 10K. Overall awards and age group awards will be based upon clock time.

Post-race Celebration: Food, awards and entertainment will be offered after the race so we hope you stick around and enjoy the post-race celebration. Breakfast bars, bagels and fruit provided will be available prior to the race as well as after.

Beneficiary: The Worcester SWIM (Safe Waters In Maryland) Fund has partnered with the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore to promote and support competitive, recreational and learn-to-swim programs in Worcester County by offering financial aid for children to take learn-to-swim classes; grants to local swimming pools and organizations for equipment and programs to assist with competitive and recreational swimming programs; and scholarships to incoming college freshman who have exhibited positive sportsmanship and promotion of the sport of swimming.

The Worcester SWIM Fund offers financial incentives to promote the culture of swimming by creating opportunities for swimmers and coaches of all backgrounds to participate and advance in the sport through clubs, events and education.

The fund hopes young people on the Eastern Shore may enjoy healthy learning situations, promote sportsmanship, team spirit, dedication and self-improvement while nurturing the technical aspects of swimming.

Sign Up for an Interactive 10K Training Plan: The Seabreeze 10K has teamed up with Live Long Fitness Trainers and coaches to provide training plans, specifically for this race. These plans are designed for athletes of ALL levels, from the first-timer all the way up to the most experienced athlete.
