Meredith Sullivan

My love of running was ignited by a sibling rivalry. My brother ran a half marathon and thought I'd always been active, I hadn't run since high school. I started thinking if he can do it why can't I. I trained for my first half (Baltimore 2014) entirely alone and was hooked. A friend suggested I join the training group at Charm City Run to meet some fellow runners. I was hesitant - I was used to running alone and I was slow - but I decided to give it a shot. the training group was fantastic - I found a handful of people who were about my pace and we bonded immediately.  Those people are some of my closest friends still today.
Two and a half years, 10 half marathons and four full marathons later I jumped at the chance to coach for Charm City Run and give back to the community that had given me so much!
