Half Marathon Training
Get serious about your running and fitness and train to complete or compete in a half-marathon or 10 Miler! Our half marathon programs are open to the runner attempting their first endurance event to the repeat competitive runner. Training can be individualized to your experience and goals.
UPCOMING HALF MARATHON TRAINING GROUPS
At Charm City Run we think what makes running fun is the people you share it with, being outdoors, and striving to achieve a goal. This training program is designed to help meet those three needs and many more. The fall half marathon group will target the Rock'n'Roll DC and Shamrock Half Marathon in Virginia Beach as well as any other race during that time frame. The groups will run December - March twice a week.
This middle distance maintenance group is designed to keep you running through the beautiful end of fall weather with the same accountability you have with one of our traditional groups. It’s an opportunity for those with a November middle distance or full marathon race to keep training with a group, those who completed a fall race to keep running while the weather is gorgeous or if you have taken some time off ramp back up before our winter groups start.
If you are currently working towards achieving a PR, this group is for you! We will do the work in the off-season needed to PR in your upcoming training and race.
