Ericka Butler

I have many passions in life, but two of my biggest are helping people and running.  My personal running journey started with a race you may know, the Kelly St. Patrick’s Day Shamrock 5k.  After that beautifully fun 3.1 miles, I was hooked to the amazing sport called running.  When I started coaching, my world was rocked; I was able to give back to this sport by helping others achieve their goals.  I have both coached and ran the 5k, half marathon and full marathon distance and been a part of the Charm City Run family since 2010.

Running can be intimidating.  There is no reason for it to be.  Together we will literally put one foot in front of the other to achieve greatness and your goal while having some laughs along the way.  If you believe you can, you are half way there.   Running with a group is incredibly powerful.   The fun, motivation and support you will gain from each other is awesome.

My goal as a coach is to get you to the starting line injury free and feeling prepared.  I feel strongly that every body’s journey is different as well as their personal reasons for wanting to achieve their goal.   I will tailor my coaching so you get what is best for you.  I have worked with adults varying in age, ability, experience and desires. Past participants have said I’m open, honest, approachable, friendly and motivating by putting the best challenges in front of you to overcome.  If it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you.

“Say yes to new adventures because you are so much stronger than you think”
