I discovered the joy and benefits of running only about 6.5 years ago and I am so happy that I did…running has brought so much to enrich my life from healthy rewards to wonderful friends. When I first started running, I literally started from scratch, running just minutes at a time and have since worked my way up to my favorite distance…the half marathon. I find that there is challenge in training to run quick longer distances and racing fast short distances…mixing up your training and terrain keeps running interesting and fun for me. I am so happy to be part of the Charm City Run Training Team and look forward to encouraging and hopefully inspiring others to love running and make it a regular part of their healthy lifestyle.
