Cinco de Miler (5 Mile) Training

For the first time, you have the chance to train exclusively for the Cinco de Miler!

Our 8-week 5 Miler training program is designed for beginner and intermediate-level runners who want to improve speed and endurance. Regardless of if you plan to race at the end of the program, this training group will help you develop a consistent running routine.

This special group program is offered at Charm City Run Annapolis. You will meet twice a week for supported group runs with your fellow runners and coach - once for a speed workout and once for a distance run in addition to following a weekly training plan. Your expert coach will provide plenty of advice and running education along the way including tips & tricks for hydration, nutrition and injury prevention.

No running experience necessary! Runners, walkers and run/walkers of all levels welcome!


Cinco de Miler (5 Mile) Training

This group starts March 16th and targets the Cinco de Miler on Sunday, May 5th or any other similar race in the same time frame. You are also welcome to join the group even if you aren’t planning to race at the end.

Training Dates & Times

Before you head out for your first group run, your coach will lead an information session that will address the program expectations and benefits and answer any of your questions. To sign up for the info session, please fill out the form below.

Training Runs: 

  • Tuesdays at 6:30pm

  • Saturdays at 7:30am

Want to learn more about our Cinco de Miler Training Program? Sign up for the info session on Saturday, March 16th at 7:30am. The info session will take place directly before the first day of training so come ready to run! Registered or not, you are welcome to attend the first day and get a feel for the group, meet your coach and ask any questions!
