Are you planning to run the Charles Street 12 at the end of August? Do you want to increase your running mileage? Our Charles Street 12 groups are open to everyone from the runner attempting the B3 Distance Series for the first time to runner who wants to improve their distance race times. Training can be individualized to your experience and goals. The program will prepare to race your best - whether you're new to long distance running or a seasoned half marathoner.
Our Charles Street 12 groups will meet twice a week from mid-June through the end of August - once a week for speed workouts and once a week for long runs. Your expert coach will also provide you with a weekly training plan that will guide your preparation for your target half marathon. Along the way you'll learn about about increasing your mileage, tempo runs, track workouts, hill workouts, recovery runs, nutrition, hydration, injury prevention, and much more.
To safely meet your goal we do ask that you have a base level of running under your belt before joining this group. What does that mean? We ask that at the beginning of the program you are able to run/walk 3 miles at one time and are currently running 8-12 miles per week. This does not mean you need to be able to run the entire way but just that you are comfortable covering that distance. Are you not sure if you meet these requirements? Don’t worry ask the coach for you location. You will be surprised that most people meet these requirements and are able to join the group.

Our Charles Street 12 groups start June 15th and target the Under Armour Charles Street 12 presented by KELLY on Saturday, August 31st or any similar distance race in the same time frame.

Registered or not, all are welcome to join us for an info session and/or the first day of training to get a feel for the awesome group atmopshere! All info sessions and first days of training are held at the corresponding Charm City Run stores.
