Catoctin 50K Training
Starts April 18th in Frederick!
Are you gearing up for the Catoctin 50K? Join our ultra marathon training group to ensure you're ready to race your best on July 14th.
We'll meet twice a week for 13 weeks for runs and learn about hydration, trail running, easy runs, recovery runs, hydration, nutrition, injury prevention and much more along the way. Weekday runs will consist of hills and track workouts. Saturday morning runs will be trail runs on the course, unless weather forces us to stay on the roads.
To safely meet your goal we do ask that you have completed at least one marathon distance and have a strong base level of running under your belt. We ask that you are able to run at least 10 miles before the start for the program. The Catoctin 50K race is geared towards the experienced ultra runner. Target Race: Catoctin 50K on Saturday, July 14th.

You do not have to be registered for the training program to attend the info session on Wednesday, April 18th. We'll meet at the store at 6:00pm to review the outline of the program and answer any questions you have. After we finish the info session, we'll head out for our first training session from the store! Please sign up below if you plan to attend on April 18th.
