As an athlete, mama & yogi, Amanda has a well-rounded understanding of how the mind & body function together. With a love to teach & inspire, Amanda practices and continues her education to keep her students safe, informed and motivated.
Dr. Amanda Macht is the owner and chief physical therapist at Harbor Physical Therapy. Dr. Macht received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from University of Maryland Baltimore and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiological Sciences from University of Maryland College Park. She has vast experience treating orthopedic, sport, and soft tissue injuries. Dr. Macht believes the key to a successful physical therapy outcome is a patient centered approach. Dr. Macht takes time during patient evaluation to not only evaluate the injury but determine how the injury occurred based on the patient's lifestyle, daily activities, sport, and job.
