Sole of the City Recovery Party

  • Charm City Run Fells Point & Locust Point (map)

Recover effectively and celebrate your accomplishments the day after the Under Armour Sole of the City 10K presented by KELLY. Join us at the Locust Point or Fells Point shop for a morning that will ensure you leave feeling refreshed.

We'll kick off the morning with a 45 minute recovery yoga class at 9am led by Jenna Scott from CorePower Yoga in Fells Point and Sarah Mayhew from Asana Roots in Locust Point. This is the perfect treat for your stiff runner muscles.

After yoga, massage therapists from The Healing Path in Fells Point and Massage Envy in Locust Point will be here to provide complimentary 15 minute, seated massages. Atendees in Locust Point will also enjoy mini stretching sessions. Book your appointment below!

We'll also have breakfast in the store and be leading foam rolling and stretching demos throughout.

Please bring a yoga mat and a water bottle with you for class.

RSVP to the Recovery Party

You have the option to register for just the yoga class, just a massage appointment or both! Please RSVP as spots will fill quickly. Please only sign up if you plan to attend and let us know if your attendance status changes so we can open up your spot. Thank you in advance!

About Sarah Mayhew

Sarah completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher training at Gogo Guru in Ellicott City, MD and her 85-hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher training at Charm City Yoga/YogaWorks in Baltimore, MD. Sarah conveys an energetic, light-hearted, yet grounded approach to yoga, infusing her classes with opportunities for her students to find their edge and find their center. She brings her improvisational theater, music, and dance background to the table to help her students realize and embrace their grace, face challenges with a sense of adventure and humor, and focus their active, creative minds. She encourages her students to make time in their day for themselves, for gratitude, and for cultivating their practice on and off of their mats. Ever the yoga student herself, she has taken coursework in Yoga for the Classroom and training in Thai Yoga Massage and Bodywork. In addition, she is working on her Yoga for All Certification, which focuses on teaching yoga so that is it approachable and adaptable for all experience levels and diverse body types.
