This is a downhill point to point course. That description can be deceiving when you are running the course. Take a look at the course map graphic on the web page.Look at Race Information and select Course. The graphic map shows the hills. The course is on paved streets. Once off Main St. this is a residential area. Only the section of Main St. and Lee Way are closed to traffic. There are police officers at major intersections. There are course marshals at almost all intersections. The course is marked with white chalk on the road. Runners are responsible for knowing the course.
