Charm City Wine Run 5K

Join us on Saturday, May 6th, at Rash Field in the Inner Harbor as we Chase the Chardonnay in CHARM CITY style.  The Charm City Wine Run 5K race will start and end in Baltimore’s beautiful INNER HARBOR.  As you finish your race you will find yourself immersed in the largest Wine & Food Festival in Baltimore with over 15 wines in a special wine garden especially for runners along with Food Trucks, Arts & Crafts, and enjoy the sounds on the Main Stage. Teams are encouraged to dress the part and we’ll have a costume contest. All runners are welcome to stay at the Festival (11am – 5pm).  Join us today – entries are limited.


Entry Fees

Regular Entry Fee: $56 On-Site / $49 Advance Includes: Entry into the race, Souvenir T-Shirt, Souvenir Glass, Unlimited Beer, Wine & Spirits Tastings from 11am-5pm at the Baltimore Wine & Food Festival and live music.

VIP Entry Fee: $105 On-site / $89 Advance  Includes: Entry into the race, Souvenir T-Shirt, Souvenir Glass, Entry into the VIP Area with all VIP benefits, Unlimited Beer, Wine & Spirits Tastings from 11am-5pm at the Baltimore Wine & Food Festival and live music.

Online registration will close at midnight on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 or when race capacity has been met. Only 2,000 runners will be able to register!

There are no refunds of entry given or transfers of entry permitted for this event.

Race Day Packet Pickup

8am at the Event Entrance Rash Field, Inner Harbor

Runners will be able to register on-site for the race starting at 8am on May 6th. Registration will be limited and shirt sizes will be first come - first serve. 

NOTE: If you wish for someone else to pick up your packet for you, they must present a written note of permission from you.


Directions

Directions to Rash Field, Baltimore Rash Field is conveniently located next to the Maryland Science Center at Baltimore's Inner Harbor in downtown Baltimore. Rash Field is accessible from I-95 and I-295 from the south, I-95 and I-83 from the north, and I-70 to the west. Light rail and MARC Trains stop at Camden Yards, only five blocks away from Rash Field

From the NORTH:

I-95 South to Baltimore. Once you pass through the Fort McHenry Toll Facility, go through the far right tube of the tunnel, and stay in right lane. Once you emerge from the tunnel, the Key Highway exit (#55) is immediately on the right. Take the exit and move to the right lane. Make a right at the traffic light onto Key Highway. Follow Key Highway to Rash Field, which will be on your right.

From the SOUTH:

I-95 North to Baltimore. Follow the sign to Downtown Baltimore. Take the exit to I-395. Follow the signs to the Inner Harbor downtown area. Turn right onto Conway Street. Follow Conway Street to Light Street. Turn right onto Light Street, move to the furthest left lane, and follow to the traffic light at Key Highway. Bear left onto Key Highway (it's not a straight-across intersection). Rash Field will be on your left immediately after the Maryland Science Center.


Awards

Cash awards to the top two men and women in the 5K division. Costume awards will be also awarded.

Post-Race Party

Live music and awards will be hosted by the Baltimore Wine & Food Festival on the main stage at Rash Field – Inner Harbor, Baltimore, MD. All runners 21 & Over WILL need proper identification to redeem their souvenir mug after the finish line.Post-race Party

The Spirit of Hope Children’s Foundation is a non-profit 501c3 organization formed and operated for the purpose of providing supper and promoting education for children and adults with a mental and physical disability.


Event Guidelines

Strollers are permitted on the course, however we ask that for safety reasons you line up at the back of the pack. NO DOGS ALLOWED. Your race number must be worn on your front and must be visible. DO NOT exchange or give your race number to another participant. A water station will be available mid-course and at the finish line.
