Saturday, May 13, 2017 is the 9th annual Maryland Half Marathon and 4th annual Maryland 5K - two unique races raising funds and awareness for UMGCC.
$75 Half Marathon ($90 on Race Day)
$20 Kids Fun Run (registration on race day)
There are no refunds of entry given or transfers of entry permitted for this event.
Race Day Schedule
Half Marathon begins at 8 a.m.
5k begins at 8:30 a.m.
Kids Fun Run begins at 8:45 a.m.

You can pick up your packet on race day. Please plan accordingly and give yourself plenty of time as it may be busy.
***You may have someone else pick up your packet (bib number, participant shirt and Goodie Bag) during any of the packet pick-ups. The person getting your packet will need a signed note from you or a copy of an email from you and his/her photo ID. Please don't send the note authorizing someone to pick up your packet directly to us. The person picking up your packet should bring the note (or a printout of an email) with him/her to a packet pick-up location!
There are many ways to volunteer at the Maryland Half Marathon & 5K. If you are interested in lending a hand, please do not hesitate to contact Katelyn Badwak at Katelyn@charmcityrun.com. Please do not forget to include your name, phone number and the amount of people in your volunteer group.

Yes, the Half Marathon, 5K and Kid's Fun Run finishers will receive a medal.
Half Marathon: The 13.1 mile course runs through scenic Howard County beginning and ending at the Maple Lawn Community.
5K: All 5K participants will receive a fundraising page and are eligible to earn premiums. The 5K course will start after the Half Marathon at 8:30am.
Kids Fun Run - register on race day
The Kids Fun Run is open to all children 12 and under. The entry fee is $20.00 and all participants will cross the same finish line as the half marathoners! All participants will receive a t-shirt and water. Registration for the Kids Fun Run is available online as well as the morning of the event.
We hope you’ll be ready to celebrate after your run because we’ve planned the best Post Race Festival yet! In addition to the awards for category winning runners, you won’t want to miss the live performances.
The action-packed Kids Zone is fun for all ages! From balloon animals to face painting to inflatables and an arts and crafts station, this year's Kids Zone is one stop you won't want to miss.

Each group will be led by one or more experienced members of the Baltimore Pacemakers running group. Just meet up with the group of your choice at the starting line and you'll have someone to guide and encourage you to achieve your goal.
