Please join us for the 9th Annual AFCEA CMD Race for Excellence: 5K & 1-Mile on June 11, 2016. The post race celebration includes race-day massages, water, snacks, and a complimentary breakfast for participants provided by Eggspectations. Breakfast is limited.

Military/Student (with ID) 5K: $35
1 Mile Fun Run: $25
*Race shirts are only guaranteed for those who register prior to 5/15/16. After that, remaining shirts will be distributed in the order of registration.
**This year's Fun Run includes a race shirt! If you do NOT want a race shirt $5 will be discounted from your entry fee.
The event will be held rain or shine and no refunds of entry will be given.
NO PETS will be allowed at the Franklin Center for this event.

PACKET PICK-UP AND REGISTRATION
Race Day starting at 7:30AM
Team Awards: - Largest Team award goes to the team that has the most number of 5K finishers - Fastest team award goes to the team that has the fastest combined 5K time of its top four finishers.
USAT&F-certified; this is a loop course that is relatively flat, but the inclines are certain to provide a challenge
Upgraded T-shirts guaranteed for the first 800 to register (field is limited to 1,500 runners); race-day massages; water and splits on the 5K course; complimentary breakfast will be provided by Eggspectations*** immediately after the AFCEA 5K.
***Breakfast is limited to paid participants; a racer bib will be required to gain entry to the meal tent. Granola bars, light fruit, and water will be available to everyone.
Post Race Party: Nottingham’s (8850 Stanford Boulevard, Columbia, MD 21045)
Top three male and female finishers overall as well as in the following age groups: 9 and under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.
This event requires the efforts of many volunteers who will help run the event. If you or someone you know would like to volunteer, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your availability and interest. Volunteers are needed for bag stuffing, setup, and on race day.
