The 3rd Annual Freeze Your Buns 5K Walk/Run has been rescheduled to February 7th, 2016 due to weather. Any questions concerning registration please contact Kelly Cox at (410)-242-1515.

Join us at the 2016 Freeze Your Buns 5K Walk/Run, presented by Anne Arundel Community College Department of Public Safety in support of Special Olympics Maryland. It is a 5K course around the Anne Arundel Community College Campus on February 7th, 2016.


$30 pre-registration

$35 on race day

Participate in the Freeze Your Buns Run 5K. There is a $30 registration fee for the 5K, however, additional fundraising is encouraged to show your support of the thousands of Special Olympics Maryland athletes.

There are no refunds of entry given or transfers of entry permitted for this event.

On site Registration Opens: 9:00 am - 10:00 am

Freeze Your Buns Run 5K Begins: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Runners will receive a long sleeved t-shirt and all event participants are welcome to join in the post race celebration.  Day of registrants will receive long sleeve t-shirts as supplies last.

Top 3 males & females overall in the following age group categories:
    15 years old & Under
    16-19 years old
    20-29 years old
    30-39 years old
    40-49 years old
    50-59 years old
    60-69 years old
    70 years old +

The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for citizens with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.


Please no roller blades, skates, bikes, dogs, pets or headphones allowed on the race course. Your race number must be worn on your front and must be visible. DO NOT exchange or give your race number to another participant.
