Hi I’m Alison.

I am native to Baltimore and a late comer to the running world, having not picked up the sport until I was 31. Dared by a friend, my very first race was the Baltimore Half Marathon. I was undertrained and naïve about the hills of Baltimore, but the pride I got from hobbling across the finish line, was enough to make me trade in my elliptical for the road. Since then I’ve completed a handful of half marathons and 5 full marathons, and became RRCA certified as a long distance run coach in 2015. Using my knowledge and work experience as a physical therapist assistant, my number one priority is reducing the risk of injury before toeing the start line.

The confidence, discipline, and camaraderie running has given me, has been worth every blister, and missing toenail. I’m excited to be part of the CCR family, and look forward to helping every runner reach their personal goals, loudly cheering every step of the way.
